Product Description

The Citadel STC Base Brush is available in Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large sizes and is part of the Standard Template Construct synthetic brush range - Citadel's professional own-brand synthetic brushes designed for use with Citadel paints across the full painting workflow. The STC range uses 100% synthetic fibres engineered to hold their shape and tip profile through regular use, maintaining consistent performance across many painting sessions.

The Base brush sizes cover basecoating work across all model scales. The Small STC Base handles infantry models and smaller miniatures where a medium or large brush would be too unwieldy to control on tight areas. Medium suits standard infantry and character models, providing enough belly to carry a basecoat consistently across a model surface without drying between strokes. Large and Extra Large are appropriate for vehicles, monsters, terrain, and superheavy miniatures where broad coverage and a high paint volume per stroke saves time across large, flat surface areas. All four sizes are equally effective for applying Citadel Base paints, Contrast paints, and primer coats as a precursor to shade and highlight stages. The brushes clean easily with water and maintain their synthetic fibres in good condition through normal use.
