Product Description

Shade paints require a brush that loads enough liquid paint to flow freely into recesses without dragging or streaking on raised surfaces - a combination of bristle softness, belly volume, and tip control that the Shade brush set is specifically optimised for. The variety of sizes in the set allows painters to match the brush scale to the model being shaded: a large brush loaded with Agrax Earthshade or Nuln Oil applied to a whole model washes the entire surface at once for speed-painting; smaller brushes apply specific shade colours selectively - Druchii Violet to robes, Drakenhof Nightshade to armour panels, Seraphim Sepia to skin - without cross-contaminating adjacent areas with the wrong shade colour. The soft synthetic bristles release shade paint smoothly and clean easily between colour changes.
