Product Description

Citadel Base Stegadon Scale Green is a Base paint from Games Workshop - a very deep, rich blue-green that forms the foundation for Seraphon (Lizardmen) reptilian skin painting in the standard Citadel system. Stegadon Scale Green is among the darkest Base paints in the range, providing the deep teal-green shadow colour of Saurus Warrior skin and Seraphon beast hides, over which brighter green highlights are progressively applied. Named for the Stegadon dinosaur-beast of the Seraphon range, it captures the specific cold, reptilian quality of scaled lizard skin at its deepest tone.

Use as the base coat for all Seraphon Saurus Warrior and Saurus Knight skin, for Seraphon Stegadon and Carnosaur body skin as the starting point before highlighting with Thunderhawk Blue and Skink Blue, for Idoneth Deepkin eel-skin and aquatic creature detail where the dark blue-green suits deep-sea animal colouration, and for terrain elements depicting jungle undergrowth and swamp vegetation in dark teal-green tones. Also used in Salamanders Space Marine chest eagle and aquila details in some painting guides. Applies over black primer for maximum depth.
