Citadel Base Ionrach Skin is a Base paint from Games Workshop - a pale, desaturated blue-grey skin tone that serves as the foundation for Idoneth Deepkin flesh in the Citadel painting system. Named after the Ionrach Idoneth enclave, Ionrach Skin captures the specific pale, cool, slightly aquatic quality of Aeldari skin in the deep-sea-dwelling Idoneth variant - lighter than standard Aeldari skin and with a cooler, more ethereal undertone. It provides the starting point for ghostly and undead skin tones across multiple factions.

Use as the base coat for Idoneth Deepkin Namarti Thrall, Akhelian Guard and Eidolon model skin in the standard Citadel Idoneth recipe, for Nighthaunt spectral spirit flesh where the cool pale grey suits ghostly undead skin, for Primaris Space Marine helmeted head face details in some pale-skin recipes, for Death Guard pale mutated flesh at the lighter end of the Nurgle skin scale, and for any model where the skin tone should appear pallid, cold or barely living rather than warm and healthy. Highlight with Pallid Wych Flesh and White Scar for the spectral skin recipe. Apply over black or grey primer.
