Citadel Base Deathworld Forest is a Base paint from Games Workshop - a dark olive-green with a yellowish undertone that provides the foundation for jungle-world vegetation, camouflage patterns and Death World terrain in the Citadel system. The name references the Death Worlds of Warhammer 40,000 - heavily jungled hostile planets where vegetation is as dangerous as the enemy. Deathworld Forest sits between Castellan Green and Militarum Green in warmth, providing a distinctive dirty, humid jungle green rather than a clean or cool forest green.

Use as the base coat for Catachan Jungle Fighter camouflage patterns and jungle world vegetation, for Tyranid biosphere terrain pieces and jungle scatter, for Ork clan Deathskull secondary colour panels, for Seraphon jungle pyramid terrain at its deepest shadow colour, for Death Guard Plague Marine armour detail in olive-green secondary colour positions, and for any basing material depicting dense, tropical or jungle vegetation. Layer with Straken Green and highlight with Nurgling Green for the standard jungle green recipe. Also works as a direct base for Nurgle-themed models where the dirty khaki-green suits the pestilential aesthetic. Apply over black or grey primer.
