Citadel Base Bugman's Glow is a Base paint from Games Workshop - a warm, pinkish-tan skin tone that serves as the first stage of the standard Citadel human flesh recipe, named for Josef Bugman, the legendary dwarf brewer character in Warhammer lore. Bugman's Glow occupies the specific warm, orange-pink territory that sits beneath Ratskin Flesh in the Citadel skin recipe, providing the shadow tone that gives depth to painted flesh when later stages are applied only to raised areas. Applied over the entire face and hands, it becomes the natural shadow colour visible in recesses and under the jaw.

Use as the first coat in the standard Citadel human skin recipe (Bugman's Glow → Ratskin Flesh → Cadian Fleshtone → Kislev Flesh highlights, shaded with Reikland Fleshshade), for Space Marine chapter faces and exposed skin, for Astra Militarum Guardsmen heads, for character models where realistic human skin is the primary painting goal, and for any human or near-human model where warm, healthy skin tones are appropriate. Also serves as a standalone base for darker, warmer skin tones without subsequent layering where a single coat produces an adequate result. Apply over black or grey primer.
