Citadel Technical Soulstone Blue is a transparent jewel-effect Technical paint - part of the gemstone series alongside Spiritstone Red and Waystone Green. Applied over a silver or light grey metallic, it creates a convincing blue gemstone or crystal effect through a single coat. The pooling and transparency do the work automatically.
Apply a generous drop of Soulstone Blue over a small metallic surface - lens areas, gems, power crystals, targeting optics and any stone or crystal detail that should read as a blue jewel. Let it pool and settle, then add a small 'Ardcoat dot at the centre while still wet for maximum sparkle. Works on Space Marine helmet lenses in blue schemes, gem details on Eldar armour, and psychic crystal elements on Thousand Sons and Grey Knights models.
