Citadel Technical Medium is the standard acrylic medium in the range - a colourless, transparent fluid that can extend drying time, improve flow on difficult surfaces and serve as a general-purpose paint thinner when you want something between neat water and the fully glazing properties of Lahmian Medium. A practical painting workroom tool.
Add a small amount to any Citadel paint to slow drying time on the palette, improve blending time and prevent tide-mark edges when painting large smooth areas. Useful in warm environments where paints dry too fast on the palette before they can be worked. Compatible with the full Citadel range and most other water-based acrylic miniature paints.
A supporting product for experienced painters who encounter drying-time issues in warm conditions or when blending larger areas. Lahmian Medium is generally preferred for glazing; this Medium works better for straight flow improvement.
