Citadel Contrast Akhelian Green is a vivid, saturated teal-green in the Contrast range, named for the Akhelian caste of the Idoneth Deepkin - the mounted warriors who ride massive sea creatures into battle from beneath the waves. Applied over Wraithbone or Grey Seer, it produces the vivid, deep-sea teal that defines Akhelian armour colour in the canonical Idoneth Deepkin scheme.
Apply over Wraithbone spray on Akhelian Ishlaen Guard, Allopex riders and Leviadon Deepkin models for the defining teal tone in a single coat. Also works for Seraphon in vivid turquoise-green schemes, for aquatic creature models across the range, and as a jewel-effect green on gem details. The teal quality is distinct from the warmer Warp Lightning and the more standard Ork Flesh - it reads clearly as oceanic and aquatic, which makes it the natural choice for underwater-themed models.
