Product Description

Citadel Base Runelord Brass is a metallic Base paint from Games Workshop - a warm, dark brass with a convincing metallic sheen that provides solid opacity directly over primer in one coat. Runelord Brass sits in the warm metallic tier between copper and gold: darker than Retributor Armour gold and warmer than Leadbelcher silver, it occupies the specific material quality of aged, worked brass rather than bright new gold. A 12ml pot in the standard Citadel paint format.

Use as the base coat for Kharadron Overlords brass fittings, steam-pipe work and mechanical components where the duardin engineering aesthetic calls for warm, slightly tarnished metal, for the rune-inscribed metalwork of Fyreslayers altar pieces and sacred artefacts, as the first coat on Space Marine Chaplain iconography and detailed bronze trim, and for any model where the material should read as brass or tarnished bronze rather than bright gold. Layer with Gehenna's Gold for brightness or wash with Agrax Earthshade for an aged patina. Applies directly over black or grey primer.
