Astra Militarum Catachan-style jungle infantry, whose camouflage clothing in earthy greens benefits from a shade that adds shadow depth without pulling the colour warm or cold, use Athonian Camoshade over pale green or tan basecoats to unify colour variation and complete the shading step efficiently. Militarum vehicles in green schemes respond to the shade as a full-model wash to add weathered depth across engine grille vents, riveted panel details, and wheel well recesses. The colour also works on Ork skin where a more muted, naturalistic green shadow is preferred over vivid Biel-Tan Green, on natural terrain pieces in earthy tones, and on Sylvaneth bark and foliage where a warm-green-brown shadow is appropriate.
