Product Description

The Citadel Water Pot (2018) is a purpose-designed brush-washing pot for Warhammer miniature painters. Unlike a standard household jar or glass, the Water Pot features an internal ribbed structure along the bottom that painters drag brush bristles across to remove paint from the bristle body without heavy pressing that can damage brush tips, and a separate compartment that keeps rinsed brushes away from the visibly coloured dirty water used for the initial paint removal rinse.

Keeping brush water clean enough to accurately judge paint dilution is an ongoing challenge in any painting session - once the rinse water becomes heavily pigmented, it contaminates each subsequent brushload. The Water Pot's dual-compartment or structured interior allows painters to maintain cleaner water for final brush rinses without needing to change the entire pot contents as frequently as a single open jar requires. The pot is sized to sit stably on a painting desk without tipping, which is a recurring problem with lighter glass jars and improvised containers. The ergonomic shape and non-slip base keep it stable during the repeated brush dipping of a long painting session. A practical alternative to improvised containers for painters who prefer purpose-made hobby tools.
