Citadel Skulls is a box of 340 plastic human skulls in multiple sizes and poses, designed as a basing and terrain decoration accessory for Warhammer miniatures and scenery. Skulls are one of the defining visual elements of the Warhammer aesthetic - they appear on Khorne altars, Chaos Space Marine shoulder pads, Death faction terrain, Imperial monuments, and throughout the battlefields of both Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar. A box of individual plastic skulls provides the raw material to add skull-based detail to bases, terrain, and conversions without cannibalising other kits for skull components.
The skulls are scaled to work across the range of Warhammer miniature sizes - human, Orruk, and larger skull variants allow scale-appropriate decoration on bases from 25mm infantry to 60mm character. Uses include scattering on resin or texture-paint-covered bases before the wash and drybrush stages to add scattered bone detail, building skull piles and altars for terrain pieces, adding trophies and grim decoration to vehicles and war machines, and converting existing models with additional skull components that are otherwise difficult to source in isolation. At 340 skulls per box, the set provides enough material for a full army's worth of basing detail.
