The Mk III Breacher Squad represents the siege specialists of the Legiones Astartes in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy - warriors who advance through prepared breach points under the heaviest fire, relying on fortified Mk III armour and large rectangular siege shields rather than speed. This plastic kit assembles twenty legionaries in Mk III Iron armour carrying the characteristic breach shields alongside short-ranged weapons: bolt pistols, boarding weapons, and special weapons suited to close-quarters tunnel and void combat. The models are posed in the tight formation of troops fighting their way through corridors and fortification gaps.

On the tabletop Breacher Squads have improved invulnerable saves when advancing toward the enemy under fire, making them uniquely effective at soaking damage while closing to decisive close-combat range - the quintessential assault-through-fire unit for Legiones Astartes siege forces.
