The Horus Heresy Solar Auxilia Combat Force is a large army set for the Solar Auxilia - the elite Imperial line infantry of the Horus Heresy era, superior to standard Imperialis Militia and equipped with void armour and specialised weapons for operations in space and hostile environments. The box contains 28 multipart plastic miniatures: one Leman Russ Strike Tank, two Hermes Light Sentinels (alternatively buildable as Hermes Velitaris Sentinels), five Tactical Command Section members (alternatively buildable as a Legatine Command Section or Line Command Section), and twenty Lasrifle Section Auxiliaries forming the core infantry. The complete contents total 790 plastic components.
The Combat Force provides the majority of a functional Solar Auxilia matched-play force in a single purchase - the tank, recon walkers, command staff, and the Lasrifle troops who form the Auxilia's standard battleline. Transfer content is extensive: two Solar Auxilia Infantry Transfer Sheets (152 waterslide transfers) and two Vehicle Transfer Sheets (180 transfers) covering unit markings, campaign decorations, and heraldic devices across both infantry and vehicles. The kit supplies two Citadel 60mm Round Bases (for the Sentinels) and twenty-five 25mm Round Bases (for the infantry). Supplied unpainted and unassembled.
