Product Description

The Adeptus Mechanicus Ironstrider is the Martian war walker - a single-legged gyroscopic bipedal cavalry unit that balances dynamically as it strides across the battlefield, carrying either a twin cognis autocannon as an Ironstrider Ballistarius or a twin Ironstrider taser lance as a Sydonian Dragoon for melee work. This plastic kit assembles one Ironstrider in either configuration with the characteristic Skitarii rider in augmented battle-robes. The twin autocannon variant is particularly effective against light vehicles and infantry at range.

On the tabletop the Ironstrider Ballistarius provides reliable long-range autocannon fire from a mobile platform, while the Sydonian Dragoon is a fast assault cavalry unit that taser-lances infantry in melee. Both benefit from doctrinas improving their respective shooting or melee roles.

Supplied on an appropriate Citadel oval base. Requires assembly and painting.
