Product Description

The Space Marines Drop Pod is the iconic armoured single-use landing craft that delivers Space Marines squads from orbit directly into the heart of the enemy position. This multi-part plastic kit assembles one Drop Pod with five hinged door panels that can be posed open or closed, a centrally mounted deathwind launcher or storm bolter for covering fire on landing, and detailed interior components including drop harnesses and equipment racks. The five-sided door arrangement and dramatic landing strut detail make the Drop Pod one of the most distinctive vehicles in the Space Marines range.

On the tabletop a Drop Pod places an infantry squad directly from reserve into the enemy deployment zone or mid-field as early as the first turn, bypassing the opponent's early-game shooting entirely. The threat of Drop Pod deployment forces opponent consideration from the moment lists are revealed.
