Bladeguard Veterans fill the elite counter-assault role in Primaris-focused Space Marine armies - they are the most durable standard-sized Primaris infantry available, with an invulnerable save from the storm shield and Feel No Pain from their veterans' resilience, combined with power sword attacks that threaten well-armoured opponents efficiently.
