The Chaos Space Marines Dark Apostle is the Chaplain equivalent for Chaos forces - a warrior-priest who serves the Dark Gods through battle-sermons, dark liturgies, and personal combat, inspiring nearby Chaos Space Marines to greater acts of devotion through the power of his Chaos faith. This plastic kit assembles a single Dark Apostle with two Dark Disciples followers - Chaos mortal attendants who amplify his ritual authority - plus a chaos staff and the ornate corrupted religious iconography of a Chaos chaplain. The three models form a single unit.

On the tabletop the Dark Apostle improves the effectiveness of a chaos ritual that grants a bonus to nearby units - the equivalent of a Space Marine Chaplain's litany system, most effective when the bonus is selected to match the rest of the army's strategy.
