Combat Patrol: Astra Militarum is a boxed army set for Warhammer 40,000 containing a matched selection of Imperial Guard models for the Combat Patrol game mode. The box provides Astra Militarum players with a combined-arms force representing the Imperium's vast conscript armies - infantry squads backed by a command element and armoured or heavy weapons support - scaled to the Combat Patrol format for accessible, competitive smaller games.

Astra Militarum armies function through weight of numbers, fire discipline, and combined-arms coordination: infantry holds objectives while heavy weapons platforms and vehicle support suppress and eliminate threats. The Combat Patrol box captures this combined-arms approach at a reduced scale, providing the command, infantry, and support elements that make the Guard effective even at smaller game sizes. The box is the fastest route for a new Astra Militarum player to build a legal, playable force without purchasing and assembling multiple individual kits, and provides existing Guard players with a secondary Combat Patrol force for the game mode without rebuilding from their main collection. Supplied unpainted and requiring assembly.
