Combat Patrol: Necrons is a boxed army set for Warhammer 40,000 containing a matched selection of Necron models for the Combat Patrol game mode. The box provides Necrons players with a reanimating android force - the ancient machine-warriors who once ruled the galaxy before entering their long sleep - combining a Royal Warden or Overlord command character with Necron Warriors, Immortals, and a Canoptek support construct in a self-contained Combat Patrol force.

Necrons are defined by the Reanimation Protocols special rule, which allows models that are removed as casualties to return to the field at the start of each turn - an army-wide feel-no-pain mechanic that makes Necron forces frustratingly durable and difficult to clear from objectives. The Combat Patrol box captures this durability in a force scaled for the game mode: Warriors hold objectives and reanimate while Immortals and the Canoptek construct threaten enemy units. The Necron faction's technological weapons - Gauss Flayers, Tesla Carbines, and heavy weapons on Immortals - give the force good range coverage without requiring melee specialisation. Supplied unpainted and requiring assembly.
