Product Description

The Black Templars Castellan is the Chapter's equivalent of a Space Marine Lieutenant - a veteran sword-brother who serves as second in command of a Crusade Strike Force. This multi-part plastic kit depicts the Castellan in ornate Black Templars power armour bearing the Chapter's black-and-white heraldry and the Templar Cross prominently across his breastplate. He carries a bolt pistol and power sword as a standard configuration, and the kit provides options including a heavy bolt pistol, chainsword, or combi-weapon for alternative builds. The sculpt conveys the zealous bearing of a warrior who has sworn oaths before battle and will break them only in death.

On the tabletop the Castellan provides a wound re-roll aura for nearby Black Templars Infantry, making him one of the most efficient support characters in the Chapter's roster. He is most effective leading smaller units of Crusader Squads or Sword Brethren, enhancing their output in the mid-field fight while the Marshal or Helbrecht coordinates the broader assault.
