Commander Shadowsun is the supreme commander of the T'au Fire Caste - a master tactician who employs the Mont'ka doctrine of precise, focused strikes with near-perfect information, fighting from a twin-pod Coldstar-type battlesuit that grants exceptional mobility and a personal bodyguard of two drones. This plastic kit assembles a single Commander Shadowsun with her signature XV22 Stalker battlesuit, two Command-Link Drones, and the optional Light Missile Pod or fusion blasters for different weapon configurations. The model is designed to represent the T'au Army's premier tactical commander.

On the tabletop Shadowsun provides army-wide Stealth benefits to nearby T'au units, applies the Mont'ka Stratagem for free each game, and operates as a highly mobile command element that repositions to where her buffs are most needed.
