Adeptus Custodes Custodian Wardens are senior Custodians who have served the Emperor for centuries and now carry castellan axes - heavy bladed weapons that provide greater reach and power at the cost of the guardian spear's ranged capability. This plastic kit assembles five Custodian Wardens with castellan axes and misericordia blades, in the same deeply detailed individual Custodian armour as the Custodian Guard kit. The castellan axe's profile makes Custodian Wardens more effective in pure melee compared to the more balanced guardian spear configuration.

On the tabletop Custodian Wardens are a melee-focused elite infantry unit - losing the guardian spear's shooting in exchange for superior close-combat performance, making them most effective in armies that want to close to melee range rather than maintaining a balanced fire profile.

Supplied on 40mm Citadel round bases. Five miniatures per kit. Requires assembly and painting.
