The Citadel Synthetic Base Brush (Large) is a broad synthetic-bristle brush designed for applying Citadel Base paints across the largest surface areas - vehicle hull panels, cloaks, large terrain pieces, and any surface where efficient coverage is more important than fine edge control. Synthetic bristles handle the thicker consistency of Base paints without the wear damage that repeated Base paint application would inflict on softer natural-hair brushes, making this the correct tool for high-volume base coating work.

Use to prime large vehicle surfaces like Repulsor Executioners and Shadowsword super-heavies with a thin layer of Base paint before an airbrush highlight pass, to apply the first coat of colour to large AoS monsters and centrepiece models where a wide brush significantly reduces the time spent on the first coating stage, and for terrain base coating where the brush size matches the scale of walls, ruins and floor sections. Clean immediately after use with cold water; the synthetic fibres tolerate more aggressive cleaning than natural hair without damage to the tip.
