Tyranids Hormagaunts are the melee swarm organisms of the Hive Fleet - fast-moving creatures with no ranged weapons whatsoever, built entirely for the purpose of closing distance and swarming prey with blade-talons in overwhelming numbers. This plastic kit assembles a brood of Hormagaunts (check current listing for model count) with the characteristic scything talon limbs and the crouched, forward-lunging posture of creatures designed to sprint into combat. Hormagaunts move faster than Termagants and operate as a pure assault swarm.

On the tabletop Hormagaunts are the cheapest close-combat unit in the Tyranid roster - fielded in large broods where their weight of attacks and speed compensates for their individual fragility. Best used alongside screening units that protect them until they reach combat range.
