Product Description

The Medium size provides more control than the Large Shade Brush while still carrying enough volume of paint to complete an infantry model or section of a larger model without repeated reloading. It is the practical shade brush for painters who want more accuracy in where the wash flows - for example, shading a skin area without the wash flowing onto adjacent armour panels, or applying a specific shade colour to a selected material (bone washed with Seraphim Sepia, armour washed with Nuln Oil) rather than applying a universal shade across the whole model. The Medium Shade Brush is also used for selective shading techniques where the wash is applied only to recesses rather than as a full-model flood coat, producing a cleaner result on smooth surfaces that would otherwise show tidemark rings from a pooling wash application.
