Darkstar Polished Copper is a bright, freshly-burnished copper metallic acrylic - noticeably lighter and more reflective than standard Darkstar Copper, with the quality of metal that has just been cleaned and polished to its maximum lustre. Where Copper gives warm coverage, Polished Copper gives the bright highlight quality needed to make raised copper surfaces catch the light convincingly.
Use as the upper highlight stage over a Darkstar Copper or Aged Copper base coat - applied to the tops of pipes, the rims of funnels, the edges of copper armour details and the most exposed points of any copper surface. Effective on Kharadron Overlords for picking out the brightest ship fittings over a darker copper base, on Adeptus Mechanicus for tech-priest ornamental detail, and on any display model where copper should have life and shine rather than a flat single-tone finish.
