Product Description

The paint works across a wide range of applications where a clean, assertive blue is needed at tabletop speed. Space Marine armour in Chapter schemes that favour a brighter blue - Ultramarines painted to a vivid standard rather than dark navy - respond well to Celestium Blue over Wraithbone, which produces a lighter result than Asurmen Blue. Stormcast Eternals cloaks, Seraphon markings, blue gemstone details, and psychic energy effects are common applications. The transparency of Celestium Blue makes it effective as a glaze over existing blue basecoats to deepen shadow areas or add colour saturation in a controlled pass without losing previous highlight work. Thinned heavily with Contrast Medium it produces a very pale sky-blue wash suitable for large cloth areas.
