Product Description

Citadel Contrast Black Templar is the darkest black in the Contrast range - a near-opaque, very dark Contrast paint that produces a flat, deep black with recesses of dark brown-black depth. Named for the Black Templars Space Marine Chapter, the crusader Space Marines who wear pure black armour with white and gold trim, it is the fastest route to painted Black Templar power armour and to any model requiring large areas of convincingly dark black.

Apply over Wraithbone or Grey Seer spray on Black Templar Space Marine armour for the canonical Chapter colour in one fast coat. Works for Raven Guard armour in very dark quick-paint schemes, for black vehicle panels on tanks, and for large areas of black cloth, leather and armour across many armies where black is a major surface colour. Apply thinly if some tonal variation is wanted, or build up with a second coat for a deeper opaque black on the most prominent surfaces.
