Dirty Down Rust Effect is a specialist weathering product for miniature painters and scale modellers - a pigment-rich liquid that, when applied over metal surfaces, dries to a convincingly textured, orange-brown rust that matches real iron oxide corrosion far more closely than painting rust from scratch over a standard metallic base coat. Apply by brush or airbrush to any primed or painted metallic surface.
Use on Ork vehicles and Battlewagons where surface rust is canonical, on Death Korps of Krieg heavy equipment after long campaigns in the mud, on Chaos Space Marine vehicles where neglect and corruption have eaten into the metal, and on wargaming terrain - fortifications, walls, abandoned machinery and industrial scatter pieces. The product dries matt with a slight texture that adds physical depth as well as colour variation. Works on plastic, resin, metal and foam terrain equally well.
