Product Description

The matt finish of the varnish removes shine from the painted surface, including from shade washes and Contrast paints which can dry with a slightly glossy finish in recessed areas. A coat of matt varnish unifies the surface sheen across the whole model - eliminating patches of gloss and creating a consistent flat finish that reads as a professionally completed miniature. Colour Forge matt varnish is formulated to be miniature-safe, drying clear without obscuring painted detail, colour, or highlight work when applied at the recommended distance and in the correct environmental conditions (avoid spraying in cold, humid conditions which can cause blooming). The 500ml can covers a full army's worth of models and stores between painting sessions. Shake thoroughly before use.
