The Darkstar Molten Metals Gold Triad #1 is the first of four matched gold triad sets from the Darkstar range - three Darkstar gold metallic acrylic paints selected to work together as shadow, base and highlight stages in a complete layered gold finish. The four Gold Triads in the Molten Metals line each deliver a slightly different tonal character of gold, allowing painters to choose the specific warmth and quality that suits their army.

Gold Triad #1 provides a traditional warm gold progression suited to a broad range of standard miniature applications - Stormcast Eternals, Adeptus Custodes, Space Marine chapter icons and trim, and Age of Sigmar champions with gold armour. Apply the shadow tone in recesses, the mid tone across the main gold surfaces and the highlight on the uppermost raised points and edges. A Darkstar wash between base coat and highlight layers adds further recessed depth.
