The Darkstar Molten Metals Copper Triad is a matched set of three Darkstar metallic acrylic paints selected to take a copper surface from dark shadow through mid-tone to bright highlight in a single coordinated set. The three paints are calibrated to work together tonally, removing the need to identify compatible copper shades from across the Darkstar range individually.
Apply the darkest tone to the deepest recesses and shadow areas, the mid tone as the main surface colour over the majority of the surface, and the brightest tone as edge highlights and light-catching point highlights. The Copper Triad covers Adeptus Mechanicus pipe and conduit detail, Kharadron Overlords copper fittings, steampunk machinery and terrain, Nurgle Daemon Engine corroded pipe work and any large copper surface on character or vehicle models where a layered approach is more satisfying than single-coat coverage.
