Apply over black primer as the starting basecoat for Salamanders armour - the near-black base means subsequent layers of Caliban Green and Warpstone Glow provide the visible colour, while Nocturne Green fills the deepest recesses and contributes to the overall dark intensity of the scheme. Also works for any dark green scheme where maximum depth in shadows is the goal.

The darkest green in the Citadel Air range, best used as a shadow base rather than a standalone armour colour. Pairs with Caliban Green above it as the main armour colour.
