Product Description

The Astra Militarum Field Ordnance Battery is a crew-served heavy artillery unit for the Imperial Guard - three artillery pieces operated by two-man crews providing the Astra Militarum with indirect fire and anti-armour capability beyond standard Infantry weapons. This plastic kit assembles three artillery pieces with a choice of three configurations for each: the bombast field gun for indirect area fire, the heavy lascannon for anti-armour precision fire, or the twin-linked autocannon for high-volume anti-infantry output. Each combination provides a different fire support role.

On the tabletop Field Ordnance Battery crews function as infantry units positioned in backfield firing positions, contributing consistent long-range firepower each turn. The indirect fire option of the bombast field gun is particularly valuable for targeting units behind terrain that other Astra Militarum weapons cannot reach.

Supplied on 60mm Citadel oval bases. Three crews per kit. Requires assembly and painting.
