Product Description

Awlrach the Drowner is a Nighthaunt character for Warhammer Age of Sigmar - a spectral ferryman who transports the souls of the drowned across the boundary between the living world and Shyish, the Realm of Death. On the battlefield he is a mobile, ethereal commander who projects an aura of despair onto nearby enemies while offering supporting buffs to surrounding Nighthaunt units, combining the aggressive capability of a character with the utility of a support piece. The model depicts Awlrach aboard his spectral vessel, surrounded by the ghostly mist and drowned spirits that accompany him wherever he poles his craft.

Use in Nighthaunt armies as an alternative or additional character to the standard Nighthaunt general options - Lady Olynder and Kurdoss Valentian command the army from the centre, while Awlrach provides a flanking presence that is difficult to pin down given the Nighthaunt's characteristic mobility. The model is a centrepiece piece that stands out for its distinct silhouette - a standing ferryman figure in a spectral boat is unlike any other character in the Nighthaunt range - and the 80mm base provides a large surface for basing and scenic work around the vessel. This multipart plastic kit comprises 29 components and is supplied with a Citadel 80mm Round Base. Supplied unpainted and unassembled.
