Citadel Base Daemonette Hide is a Base paint from Games Workshop - a cool, desaturated lavender-grey that forms the skin tone base for Slaanesh Daemonette models in the standard Citadel painting system. Named for the Daemonettes, Slaanesh's core daemon infantry, Daemonette Hide occupies the specific pale purple-grey register of Slaanesh daemon flesh: neither full purple nor pure grey, but the specific half-tone between them that captures the otherworldly, decadent pale skin of creatures who exist between pleasure and pain. A versatile colour for cool-toned skin and stone surfaces.

Use as the base coat for Daemonette, Fiend of Slaanesh and Keeper of Secrets skin in the standard Citadel Slaanesh daemon recipe (Daemonette Hide → Slaanesh Grey → Dechala Lilac highlights), for Hedonites of Slaanesh Blissbarb Seeker and mortal warband skin in cool purple-grey schemes, for Nighthaunt spirit flesh as an alternative to Ionrach Skin where a warmer ghost tone is preferred, for pale stone and marble terrain surfaces, and for any model where the skin tone should read as cool and slightly inhuman. Apply over black or grey primer with good coverage in one coat.
