Product Description

The Black Templars Crusade Ancient is the Chapter's dedicated standard bearer, carrying the sacred Crusade banner into the heart of battle aboard a strike cruiser bound for the next contested system. This multi-part plastic kit depicts the Ancient in ornate Black Templars power armour bearing the Chapter's characteristic black-and-white livery. One gauntlet grips the towering Crusade Standard and the other holds a bolt pistol ready for close-range enemies. The banner face carries sculpted Templar Cross iconography and can be personalised further with Chapter transfers or freehand heraldry.

On the tabletop the Crusade Ancient provides a re-roll aura for nearby Black Templars Infantry while occupying a durable body capable of holding objectives under moderate fire. He is most effective positioned centrally in the formation where his banner buff reaches the widest number of Crusader Squads and Sword Brethren.

Supplied with a 40mm Citadel round base. Requires assembly and painting.
