Citadel Grey Seer Spray is the essential warm off-white aerosol spray primer designed specifically for the Citadel Contrast paint system. Applied as the undercoat before Contrast paints, it provides the specific warm, mid-grey surface that allows Contrast paints to create their characteristic one-coat base-coat-and-wash result - distinct from pure white (which gives brighter results) and from dark grey primers (which suppress Contrast colours significantly).
Use this as the undercoat whenever using Contrast paints in the core range - Ork Flesh, Guilliman Flesh, Skeleton Horde, Black Templar and the rest of the Contrast range are all formulated to work over Grey Seer or Wraithbone. Grey Seer gives slightly cooler, more muted results than Wraithbone, making it better suited for cool-toned armies: Space Wolves, Nighthaunt, Idoneth Deepkin and any force where warm ochre tones would be unwelcome. It also works as a standard light grey primer for non-Contrast painting workflows.
