Citadel Mechanicus Standard Grey Spray is a dark, neutral grey aerosol primer matched to Mechanicus Standard Grey base paint - the starting colour for Adeptus Mechanicus and Skitarii armies, and a practical dark grey base for any army where grey armour should be dark and understated rather than pale. It provides more neutral warmth than Chaos Black while still giving the dark starting surface that darker colour schemes require.
Use as the undercoat for Adeptus Mechanicus Skitarii Rangers and Vanguard, Onager Dunecrawlers, and any Mechanicus force where the canonical rust-red and dark grey colour scheme starts from a dark grey base. Also works for Iron Hands Space Marines, grey-schemed Night Lords, Deathwatch Kill Teams and terrain in urban grey schemes. The spray match with Mechanicus Standard Grey means subsequent Administratum Grey drybrushing and Nuln Oil washing can begin immediately.
