Product Description

Colour Forge Sanguine Red is a 500ml rattlecan primer spray in a deep, rich blood-red tone, designed as a one-coat priming and basecoating solution for Warhammer miniatures. Colour Forge sprays are formulated as miniature-safe primers - the fine mist droplet size and chemistry are calibrated to adhere to plastic, resin, and metal without obscuring surface detail, making them suitable for direct application to Games Workshop and other model kits.

Sanguine Red is the natural starting point for red-scheme armies across Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar: Blood Angels Space Marines, Khorne-aligned Chaos warriors, Flesh-eater Courts, and any faction with red as the primary armour or clothing colour can be primed and basecoated in a single application. Starting from a red-toned primer rather than a standard black or grey significantly reduces the number of paint layers required to achieve a vibrant red result, since the primer itself contributes the base colour rather than requiring full opacity from applied paints. The 500ml can covers a significant volume of models and provides consistent spray coverage at the recommended distance from the can. Shake well before use and apply in short bursts in a well-ventilated area.
