Product Description

Combat Patrol: Thousand Sons is a boxed army set for Warhammer 40,000 containing a matched selection of Thousand Sons Chaos Space Marine models for the Combat Patrol game mode. The box provides Thousand Sons players with a psychic Chaos Space Marine force - the dust-filled automata warriors animated by sorcery, led by a sorceror commander - combining an Infernal Master with Rubric Marines and Scarab Occult Terminators in a legal Combat Patrol force.

Thousand Sons are unlike any other Space Marine army - their infantry, the Rubric Marines, are empty power armour animated by Tzeentch sorcery, with no living occupant but devastating bolter accuracy. They have exceptional psychic power through their Sorcerers and Infernal Masters, capable of manipulating the battlefield with spells and psychic attacks that other armies cannot replicate. The Scarab Occult Terminators provide their close-range assault option - armoured Chaos Terminators with a similar magical nature to the Rubrics but in heavier plate. The Combat Patrol format suits Thousand Sons because their individual model power offsets their low model count relative to other factions. Supplied unpainted and requiring assembly.
