Citadel Contrast Baal Red is a rich, deep red in the Contrast range - a modern evolution of the classic Baal Red wash that was a staple of the previous generation Citadel range. The 18ml pot gives more volume than the standard Contrast pots, suited to painters working through Blood Angels, World Eaters, or other red armies where the paint is applied across large armour surfaces and needs to stretch across an entire force.
Apply over Wraithbone or Grey Seer spray on Blood Angels Space Marine armour for a deep, saturated red result in a single coat. Works for World Eaters red armour plates, for red-armoured Chaos Space Marines, and for the red elements of mixed schemes across many armies. The depth of this particular red gives armour a richer, more blood-toned result than the brighter Blood Angels Red standard Contrast - better for schemes where the red should feel darker and more menacing.
