Citadel Contrast Basilicanum Grey is a dark, gritty grey in the Contrast range - a deep, saturated grey that gives Space Marine armour in non-standard grey colour schemes a quick, convincing result. Applied over Wraithbone or Grey Seer, it produces a dark grey with visible depth and shadow variation, making it effective for armies like Grey Knights, Space Wolves in darker schemes, and Iron Hands where grey armour should look imposing rather than neutral.
Apply over Wraithbone or Grey Seer spray on Grey Knight Terminator and power armour for the canonical silver-grey in a single coat, on Iron Hands vehicles and infantry in dark grey schemes, and on any Space Marine chapter with grey as a primary or secondary armour colour. Also works for grey stone, concrete and metal surfaces on terrain and vehicles where a dark, gritty grey shade gives immediate definition without additional washing.
