Citadel Contrast Gore-Grunta Fur is a warm, dark brown in the Contrast range, named for the Gore-Gruntas - the Orruk cavalry who ride large, armoured boar-like creatures into battle. Applied over Wraithbone or Grey Seer, it gives the brown fur and hide quality of large beast models in a single coat, working efficiently across the rough, textured surfaces of creature miniatures where recesses are plentiful and the Contrast formula creates immediate depth.
Apply over Wraithbone spray on Gore-Grunta mount hides and fur, on Orruk Beast-Skewer Killbow yoke-beast, and on any large creature model with textured brown hide or fur. Works for Beastmen and Gor creature mounts, for Troglodon and Carnosaur Seraphon mount skin in warm brown schemes, and for large equipment leather - Ogryn clothing, Ogre furs, Chaos Warrior beast-hide cloaks. The Contrast formula is particularly effective on rough textured surfaces where manual brushwork on small fur details would take significant time.
