Ironjawz Yellow is a bright, vivid yellow-orange Contrast paint named after the Ironjawz, the elite heavy-armoured Orruk warriors of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Applied over Wraithbone or Grey Seer, it produces a strong, energetic yellow that sits slightly more orange-warm than Imperial Fist, creating the bold armour colour associated with Ironjawz Megabosses and their Brute warriors.
The paint covers Ironjawz armour efficiently - the large, flat armour plates of Brutes, Gore-Gruntas, and Megabosses take a single Contrast coat well, with the formula shading naturally in the recesses of heavy plate and leaving the broad surfaces at a strong yellow. Bad Moon Orks in Warhammer 40,000 can use Ironjawz Yellow as an alternative to Bad Moon Yellow for a slightly more orange-shifted clan colour. The paint works on hazard stripe basing for terrain and vehicles, yellow ammunition cases, brass and warm gold accent effects, and any warm accent colour that needs to read strongly at tabletop distance. Used alongside a dry-brush of Dorn Yellow or Flash Gitz Yellow, a single Ironjawz Yellow coat can be upgraded to a highlight-and-shade Ironjawz scheme quickly.
Citadel Contrast Ironjawz Yellow - a vivid warm yellow for Ironjawz Orruks, Ork armies, and bold yellow armour across Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000.
