Death Guard Deathshroud Bodyguard are the personal champions of Mortarion himself - warriors who gave up individual identity to become the Daemon Primarch's elite guard, bearing manreapers and plaguespurt gauntlets as they protect their lord from harm. This plastic kit assembles three Deathshroud Bodyguard in their distinctive tall, bulky armour with long manreaper scythes, plague-blessing biomorphs, and the characteristic Death Guard aesthetic taken to its logical extreme in personal bodyguard configuration.

On the tabletop Deathshroud Bodyguard intercept wounds aimed at nearby Death Guard characters - a powerful defensive ability that keeps Mortarion or a Daemon Prince alive significantly longer than they would be without the interception capability. Their own melee attacks are formidable in their own right.
