The Deathwatch Corvus Blackstar is the dedicated aircraft of the Deathwatch - a sleek void-black strike fighter designed to insert Deathwatch Kill Teams behind enemy lines in conditions where conventional drop pod deployment is unavailable. This plastic kit assembles one Corvus Blackstar with a choice of wing-mounted weapons including twin lascannon or twin assault cannon, plus a belly-mounted turret with stormstrike missile launcher or twin linked helfrost cannon, and transport capacity for twelve Deathwatch warriors.

On the tabletop the Corvus Blackstar delivers Deathwatch operatives from reserve via aerial insertion while contributing its own weapon fire - the standard approach for Deathwatch armies that want to deploy kill teams in optimal positions mid-game rather than deploying on foot from the start.
