The 2025 rules update reflects any changes to the Tyranids faction that affect Combat Patrol unit composition and army construction. Tyranids remain a fast, aggressive assault army whose Hive Mind mechanics and synapse range rules reward careful positioning of synapse creatures to maintain army cohesion. The Assault Brood configuration continues to emphasise close-quarters combat: Hormagaunts advance as the wave, Genestealers hunt priority targets, and the Broodlord provides monstrous close-combat power. Players who already own the earlier Tyranid Combat Patrol box will find this updated edition aligns to the current rules. Supplied unpainted and requiring assembly.
